UIMCert GmbH is an affiliated company of UIMC GmbH & Co KG. Capital holders are UIMC DR. Vossbein Betriebs-GmbH and Dr. Heiko Haaz, General Manager and CEO of UIMCert is Mrs. Anneli Wölfel-Heymann.
As affiliated company of UIMC, UIMCert has the explicit target to develop a leading position in the market of IT-security. UIMCert management is backed up by an Advisory Board of leading experts, who are supporting the management in strategic questions of security auditing and certification. UIMCert has a qualified staff, experienced in IT-security auditing and certification. UIMCert is co-operating with other institutions in order to broaden the own experiences and know-how and to be able to offer a full service range to customers. UIMCert audits IT-Security management systems according to ISO/IEC 27001 and has developed a data privacy rehearsal system. UIMCert is accredited to Unabhängiges Landeszentrum für den Datenschutz ULD. In the sector of data privacy UIMCert is auditing data processing institutions and applications for the processing of personal data. UIMCert is performing Training Courses and Workshops in the field of Auditing, Data Protection and IT-Security. A further activity is the development of programmed learning systems and software. UIMCert is executing Research Projects in the sector of new media, e-business and IT-Security. The connection to UIMC permits the application of UIMC developed tools for the rationalisation and efficiency increase of computer supported operations.
